I had the unexpected privilege of adding Shepherds Rest Onur Efsanesi to my farm, spring of 2025. Honor is the daughter of a Turkish import, Kabak, owned by Shepherds Rest Anatolians in Oregon. She has proven to be stable, adaptable, and an amazing guardian. Currently, she is unregistered, and is likely to remain unregistered due to the ASCDA declining several import registrations recently. Despite the lack of registration, I am extremely excited to be part of preserving this unique genetic line for use in the future!
Honor is already proving herself as an amazing guardian dog with the Goats and Poultry. A gentle soul with all of her critters, affectionate with the people she knows, Honor is all business when it comes to predators whether on the ground or by air.
I am also looking forward to her future in sports such as Rally, Nosework and Weightpull
