The goals of Sunny Lee's breeding program are to preserve the breed standard with sound structure, and solid temperament in dogs that will be able to excel first and foremost as Guardians and family members, and second in the show and performance rings.
All puppies will be exposed to goats, geese, chickens, ducks and as many people as I can convince to come play with them before they start going to new homes! Puppies are raised using an extremely hands on approach that includes ENS, and exposure to everything I can come up with. Puppies are also started with a clicker and/or a verbal marker to begin shaping behaviors such as sitting and polite greetings.

Exciting 2026 breeding plans!!! I had the unexpected privilege of adding Shepherds Rest Onur Efsanesi to my farm, spring of 2025. Honor is the daughter of a Turkish import owned by Shepherds Rest Anatolians in Oregon. She has proven to be stable, adaptable, and an amazing guardian. Currently, she is unregistered, and is likely to remain unregistered due to the ASCDA declining several import registrations recently. Despite the lack of registration, I am extremely excited to be part of preserving this unique genetic line for use in the future!
Honor was bred to Singer (RO1 GRCH Sunny Lees Battle Song) in February and whelped a beautiful litter on April 16th! I am anticipating puppies which are equally stable, adaptable, with strong guardian instincts. I am accepting applications for two of the puppies at this time!
